Tapegermination Vol 1 No 7 is a sonic journey curated by a group of talented artists who have come together to create an album that is as diverse as it is cohesive. Released in 2000, the album showcases the innovative use of source audio by various artists, resulting in a unique sound that is hard to categorize but easy to enjoy.

The album opens with “Watchin’ It” by Bev Stanton, a captivating track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The use of Bryan Baker’s source audio adds depth and texture to the piece, creating a layered soundscape that draws the listener in.

“Locator Waits” by Dan Gray, featuring source audio from multiple artists, is a standout track. Its intricate patterns and unexpected transitions make for an engaging listen, showcasing Gray’s ability to weave together disparate sounds into a coherent whole.
