The fifth collection of material created by artists collaborating within the Tapegerm Collective.

Tapegerm sprung from GAJOOB’s homemademusic.com website where we hosted a collaboration project offering a downloadable pack of loops by Linda Smith. Soon the artists participating in the project were chatting online and decided to take the project further by regularly dropping loops of their own creating for other artists in the loose music collective to use as springboards for all kinds of creations.

Early albums of this material were released on the original mp3.com as DAM CDs and then through homemademusic.com itself. Over 100 albums were released.
