Gamegerm

Gamegerm is a creative audio recording game hosted on Tapegerm.com. In this project, participants are given a random selection of Tapegerm source files and challenged to create a recording using all of them. It is a collective project where artists share loops and collaborate to evolve the resulting music over time. Gamegerm offers a platform for musicians to experiment and create unique compositions by utilizing the provided source files. The project has been ongoing since May 2000 and continues to foster collaboration and creativity within the music community.

Gamegerm is not so much an instrument per se; it’s a one-of-a-kind sample pack project. The project is here: https://tapegerm.com/game.
