I tried resetting GAJOOB for this issue; opting for more a newsletter format. I wanted to somehow get into a regular schedule and not reinvent the design every time. I was coming from the perspective of wanting to disseminate information more efficiently. I think that resonated with most people, but the next issue was back to a magazine-style design. Jan Bruun of Hypertonia in Norway did not like the format of #8 and I admit that had an effect on the return to form for #9. It turned out for the best.

The original print run is still available. 8.5×11, offset printed in green ink, saddle stitched. This was designed on a Mac SE and the scans were done on a handheld portable scanner.
