Bryan Baker got a portable reel-to-reel tape recorder as a kid and set off on a very long and roundabout path of audio and art exploration, settling into a career in graphic arts by day and publishing GAJOOB as a lifelong passion since the mid-1980's. His music ranges from pop to noise as
Blind Mime Ensemble. In addition to
GAJOOB, he is a founder of the
Tapegerm Collective and
other things. He and his daughter, illustrator and writer, Alexandria Ruth Baker, are busy curating the GAJOOB Library for perpetual online access.
